Notice is hereby given that the Donington on Bain Parish Council meeting will be   

Tuesday 1st September, 2026 - Village Hall   

The meeting will commence at 7.30pm when members of the public can ask questions or make statements from this time with the full Council meeting

commencing at 7.45pm. Members of the Public and Press are welcome.

• Apologies for absence 
• Councillors absent from this meeting with no apologies sent
• To receive any declaration of interests under the localism act 2011
• To receive any Nominations for the vacancy of Chairman of this PC.

(Please note: The attendance to the September meeting is expected to be low, so although nominations will be taken for the vacancy, there will be a further chance to nominate someone in the October meeting, and this is when we expect a vote to take place. Our Vice Chair has agreed to run the meetings until this matter has been decided and this is in line with current legislation as advised in the email dated 3rd August 2026)

• Reports from Councillors re: external meetings
• Quorum clarification and PC communication
• Cheque signatories and update of banking details required
• Updates on the Scarecrow event?
• Update on Village Gates project?
• Update on Allotments – invoices to go out this month.
• Community Action Group – set-up for village projects?
• Any Planning Applications recorded on the ELDC portal
• To approve payments/issue any cheques required
